For our Canadian friends: many locations in Canada are open on Easter Sunday. However, stores in some provinces are required to close on Good Friday and/or Easter Sunday. Generally, stores in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon are permitted to be open both days. Stores in the provinces of Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island are required to close on Good Friday. Stores in the provinces of Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec are required to close on Easter Sunday. All stores in all provinces are allowed to open on Easter Monday.
Need information on restaurants or stores not listed above? Just search this site! Many restaurants are franchise operations, so Easter Sunday hours and open/closed status may vary from what is listed here. As always, our best advice is to CALL the location you’re planning to visit to confirm their Easter holiday schedule before heading out. Happy Easter, everyone!
