EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 2026: Some retailers will be CLOSED on Easter. Other locations will be operating on holiday schedules with limited hours. Due to short staffing issues, many businesses which would normally be open on Easter Sunday will be closed or operating with reduced hours this year. Kids, celebrate spring with the Easter Bunny! WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2026 – TAX DAY: Most stores and restaurants will be open with normal hours of operation. Used to be, most USPS Post Offices were open late on Tax Day with collections until midnight. This is no longer the case! Please call your local Post Office to confirm April 15th hours and pickup times if you plan to mail your return on Tax Day.
TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026 – CINCO DE MAYO: Most locations will be open with normal hours of operation. Check out the Cinco de Mayo sales and Mexican restaurant promotions!
WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 2026 – NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY. Several restaurants offer free or discounted meals to educators on Teachers’ Day.
SUNDAY, MAY 10, 2026 – MOTHER’S DAY: Regular store hours at most locations. Mom can eat FREE or for half price at many restaurants. Don’t forget to make your Mother’s Day brunch or dinner reservations!
MONDAY, MAY 18, 2026 – VICTORIA DAY: Stores in some Canadian provinces will be closed on Victoria Day. As a general rule, stores are allowed to remain OPEN on Victoria Day in Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon. Most stores are CLOSED on Victoria Day in Manitoba outside of Winnipeg, New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, and Ontario.
MONDAY, MAY 25, 2026 – MEMORIAL DAY: Most stores, restaurants, and malls will be open on Memorial Day. Some eateries will be offering free meals or discounts on lunch and dinner to veterans and active military personnel. Kick off the summer of 2025 with Memorial Day sales at many locations.
