MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 – TAX DAY: Most stores and restaurants will be open with normal hours of operation. Used to be, most USPS Post Offices were open late on Tax Day with collections until midnight. This is no longer the case! Please call your local Post Office to confirm May 17 hours and pickup times if you plan to mail your return on Tax Day.
MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 – VICTORIA DAY: Stores in some Canadian provinces will be closed on Victoria Day. As a general rule, stores are allowed to remain OPEN on Victoria Day in Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon. Most stores are CLOSED on Victoria Day in Manitoba outside of Winnipeg, New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, and Ontario.
